Raspberry Sour Ale

This beer is brewed during the hop harvest with a portion of unkilned or “wet” hops fresh off the vine. Apricot in color, Broo Doo’s nose has dominant orange, pine sap and floral notes, balanced by a glazed nut and toffee malt body. This celebration of the hop harvest has intense tropical fruit, citrus and spicy accents that showcase the complexity of the hops we all love.

A Märzen-style Fest Bier brewed with the finest German malted barley, aromatic Bavarian noble hops and traditional lager yeast. This rich malty lager is one of the few that remain true to the tradition of fest beers originally brewed to honor the marriage of Prince Ludwig in 1810. We hope you enjoy this fall offering. Doomed by a love of pitch-black Porters and our Allagash House Beer, we summoned the recipe for Haunted House. Roasted Barley and Blackprinz malt curse this beer with a gravely dark hue. Hopped with Tettnang, Chinook, and Saaz hops, this beer ends with a ghost of coffee-flavored bitterness and hauntingly complex malty palate.

Over-the-top but surprisingly approachable, this twist on the classic style starts with several types of malted barley, rye, oats and wheat. Stainless Forest is a New England style Double IPA hopped with Simcoe, Ekuanot, Amarillo, and Cascade creating enormous hop flavors and aromas of Tangerine Zest, Pine Sap, Dank Cannabis, and Ripe Cantaloupe. Stainless Forest is named after the tanks used to make beer. Many times the tanks begin to feel like tall trees in the brewery, a vast stainless steel forest of fermentors.

We started off with a big base of oats and wheat before a LUPOMAX Idaho7 whirlpool and a tremendous Strata and Galaxy dry hop. 18 Decillion pours murky yellow with aromas of grove stand OJ being enjoyed in a forest made of Starburst (please add to your bucket list if you haven’t experienced this). 18 Decillion has flavors that will have you seeing vibrant colors. Tropical melon, orange gummy slices, big papaya, and passion fruit notes with a creamy mango sorbet element lead into a buildup of luscious rainbow melon #EQjuice. While being soft and creamy, this beer has explosive flavors across a broad spectrum and exhibits our version of an artists color palette by way of hops.

E=MC², and C is the universal symbol for the speed of light. We based this beer off of our beloved Photon pale ale but amped up the hop ratios and gave this beer our Energy treatment. This method improves aroma, enhances flavor and body by pulling the most out of from each hop. C pours a bright straw yellow and has a beautiful nose that wafts up as soon as the can is cracked open. Balanced and luscious, it has deep flavors of stone fruit, pineapple, and mango thanks to the increased hopping rates. You’ll notice a super soft crushable mouthfeel and a finish that builds up and exits at the speed of light

Element: Hydrogen starts off with a 2-row base before a 100% Strata hop bill. Tropical fruit meets dank sticky icky with notes of mango, rock melon, blueberry, and mango citrus with a hoppy bite and a creamy #EQjuice finish.

We wanted to bring you a new extremely drinkable beer in an approachable 6-percenter form. Protostar uses thiolized yeast, a Strata, Citra, and Vic Secret hop bill to introduce a beer bursting with a guava, mango, and passion fruit nose. Creamy and delicate flavors of fruit cups, tropical fruit medley, lemon sorbet, and crushed pineapple lead into a custard like assorted melon forward #EQjuice finish with a touch of hoppy bite.

Solstice was somewhat experimental for us as it uses a new process to enhance the body and mouthfeel while softening the hop character of an IPA loaded with a Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe hop bill. Welcoming aromas lead to chewy flavors of assorted citrus, delicate stone fruit, papaya, pine, and plenty of rainbow melon #EQjuice right before a sorbet finish, making each sip a treat for the long number of daylight hours the season has to offer.

The Julia Set is named after the French mathematician Gaston Julia. This complex set exists as a by-product of the Mandelbrot set and was devised while studying complex dynamics during the early 20th century. This set of complex numbers can cause drastic changes in the sequence of iterated functions. Tying this into the newest beer of our series, we scaled up from Fractal using a super simple grain bill of 2-Row and our specific fractal fermentation profile before intensely hoping it with a Mosaic and El Dorado whirlpool and a dry hop of Citra, Mosaic, Strata and El Dorado. Super Fractal Julia Set pours a vivid hazy yellow with an aroma of tropical citrus, ripe red berries, and candied lemon peel. Big flavors of navel orange, mango, stone fruit, currants, and berry come alive in a dangerously drinkable and smooth #EQjuice finish. Blink and you’ll think you’re in Bavaria. We went all in on tradition with our Oktoberfest, using imported German malts and hops with a beautiful lager yeast for the finish. Pours a gorgeous copper hue with a rich, malty and slightly sweet backbone. Our version is akin to the beer poured in the early days of Oktoberfest and, yes, it adheres to the Reinheitsgebot. Prost!

A true little bomb of flavours, it presents a perfect harmony between citrus aroma, hop freshness and bitterness. This beer guarantees a soft contact with taste buds, releasing apricot and soft caramel notes. Its exacerbated dry side makes its bouquet of flavours shine and ensures its good aromatic persistence.

New Englanders know a little something about India Pale Ales, so, we had to bring our best with Imperial New England IPA. The New England Style is a departure from traditional bitter IBU-packed IPAs. The New England focus is on the beautiful citrusy characteristics of the hops and how to enhance their qualities with every sip. Our Imperial New England IPA is curiously turbid and cloudy, with just the right hoppiness, big aromatics, and tasty flavor. We paired a special blend of sought-after Pacific Northwest Hops with traditional New England style yeast to give a deliciously juicy and floral Imperial brew that’s completely unfiltered, so your pallet will enjoy hints of fresh-squeezed grapefruit, orange and passionfruit with every sip.

This Hoppy Amber Ale is our tribute to the quintessential season of change. A bright hop aroma from late hop additions plays with its strong malt backbone. Amber hued, medium bodied, with hints of citrus and pine, this ale is made for the crisp days (and nights) of fall.

Harvest Lager

Locally harvested pumpkins and apples are combined with seasonal spices to craft this pure and natural craft cider. Harpoon Pumpkin Cider is also naturally gluten-free. Its gluten content has been independently measured at less than 20 parts per million, meeting the FDA's proposed threshold for gluten-free.

Hop cubed – then squared (hop to the sixth)! We’ve kept the same malt recipe proportions as Loose Cannon, pumped up to 22 Plato (from 16.5) and then doubled the hops. We employed the late addition-, whirlpool-, hopback-, and dry-hopping process that makes Loose Cannon such a flavorful IPA. We’ve captured the beautiful balance of Loose Cannon but we’ve doubled the firepower.

Our flagship beer, Loose Cannon wins people over at first smell. The carefully cultivated interplay of Simcoe, Palisade, and Centennial creates a most fragrant IPA—its nose bursts with notes of grapefruit, herbs, and pine. Bitterness is somewhat subdued by the floral quality that pervades the taste. The color is burnished gold, and the mouthfeel is creamy. A strong malt backbone balances out the triple-hopped beer. Its nickname, Hop3, comes from the brewing process: our brewers hop Loose Cannon in the boil, the hopback, and the fermenter. It won a second place CAMRA award at the 2010 Great British Beer Festival.

Our Brandy Barrel-Aged Imperial Pumpkin Ale pays homage to Lakefront’s formative years and to our Wisconsin roots. It pours a copper-orange with a fine, off-white head. The aroma is caramel-forward, followed by cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, oak, and subtle brandy notes. The full, moderately bright mouthfeel starts with cinnamon, nutmeg, and caramel malt, then yields Madagascar vanilla bean, oak, and brandy flavors. A lingering oak and malty sweetness are left on the palate; a reminder of how we’ve honed our craft over the years.

In 1989, Lakefront Brewery owner, Russ Klisch was reading dusty brewing tome, tipping one of our fine lagers and came across a beer recipe that Thomas Jefferson had brewed with pumpkin at his home in Monticello. Lakefront Brewery’s Pumpkin Lager is one-of-the only pumpkin lagers available in the world; all other pumpkin beers are ales. Using real pumpkin and a proprietary blend of spices made here in Milwaukee for us by the acclaimed Spice House, our brewers lager this beer for 4 full weeks. This extra time gives Pumpkin Lager a deep, smooth richness that no ale can match. A frothy entry leads to an off-dry, medium-to-full body of intense cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, and candied yam flavor on a nutty whole grain toast palate. Finishes with a drier spice and light toffee fade. Caramel and Munich malts reinforce this beer’s mouthfeel and lend to the malty sweetness. A nicely balanced spice beer for those cool fall nights.

This version of Boston Lager®, produced until January 2023, was superseded by Boston Lager® Remastered. Samuel Adams Boston Lager® is the best example of the fundamental characteristics of a great beer, offering a full, rich flavor that is both balanced and complex. It is brewed using a decoration mash, a time consuming, traditional four vessel brewing process discarded by many contemporary brewers. This process brings forth a rich sweetness from the malt that makes it well worth the effort. Samuel Adams Boston Lager® also uses only the finest of ingredients including two row barley, as well as German Noble aroma hops. The exclusive use of two row barley not only imparts a full, smooth body but also gives the beer a wide spectrum of malt flavor ranging from slightly sweet to caramel to slightly roasted. The Noble hops varieties, Hallertau Mittelfruh and Tettnang Tettnanger, add a wide range of floral, piney and citrus notes, which are present from the aroma, through the flavor, to the lingering smooth finish. We take great pride in the Noble hops used in our beers. They are hand selected by Jim Koch and our other brewers from the world's oldest hops growing area. Among the world's most expensive, they cost twenty times as much as other hops.

NO Pumpkin IPA is a Fall Seasonal IPA that is flavored without the use of pumpkin, or spices. That's right NO PUMPKIN in the beer! We feel that this trend, and these particular flavors are gross in beer and many other pumpkin infused items you will be experiencing this fall. The real flavor from this IPA comes from the hops not some useless squash. There are fruity notes of blackeberry, boysenberry and grape. So enjoy your pumpkin spice, chai, mocha, latte this fall, but when you and your palette needs a break from pumpkin invasion grab a Sloop NO Pumpkin.

Our Big A IPA has earned its share of praise over the last few years. But the refreshing dryness and huge tropical fruit flavors in this double IPA are nothing to be afraid of. Bright, juicy, fruit punch, citrus, stone fruit, mango & dank.

Formerly known as Stone Tangerine Express IPA. This ain’t no just-add-juice approach. This one is for adults. We use bountiful whole tangerine purée, which brings pithy, crisp bitterness to the citrus flavor. In addition to the complexities of the tangerine — the likes of which you can only get by using the whole fruit — we judiciously employ just a hint of whole pineapple for a backnote (you’d likely not even pick it out of the mix if we didn’t tell you it was there). We’re not looking for a sweet concoction to appease the “I want my beer to taste like fruit juice” crowd. This is Stone. We like our IPAs to taste like IPAs. Big, bold and not for kids.

This aromatic super-hybrid sticky IPA is first and foremost a phenomenally delicious and drinkable beer, with the added bonus of an olfactory experience that mimics that of the legendary G13 cannabis strain. The IPA base brew has a great body, good head and nice amount of haze at a pleasurable 6% ABV. To work with the malt bill, the brewers added some of their dankest hops, Columbus and Simcoe, plus two dry hop additions. To achieve the aroma, our brewers found the perfect botanically-sourced, strain specific terpenes and married them with proprietary natural hemp-type flavor, both perfectly complementing the hops in the IPA.

We endowed this straight up juice bomb with a double dry hop of Mosaic, Citra, El Dorado and Azacca for a blast of mango, stone fruit, lime and pine. It’s not a mirage, but a tasty refreshing oasis in your pursuit of haziness.

High & Hazy IPA is loaded with three varieties of tropical and citrus-forward hops.  The soft and silky-smooth mouthfeel is obtained by using copious amounts of wheat and flaked oats, while the laid-back bitterness is achieved by the addition of hops at the very last minute.

This Killer IPA earns its title by being brewed with six different hops to create an aggressive yet exceptionally well-balanced beer. Look for notes of pine and grapefruit balanced by caramelized malt.

Released in early September. Modeled after the classic “Marzenbier” (pronounced “maer-tsen beer”) Octoberfest style that was traditionally the beer served at the Munich Oktoberfest. This is the classic amber lager.

Our beloved Keypunch has been hard at work over the years and is taking well deserved vacation this summer, so we explored some new ideas and rebuilt a Key Lime recipe that is both bolder and more balanced (with bunches of real vanilla beans).
